Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
ADDpdf (“ADDpdf,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a product of ADDPLUS, is a free PDF utility website. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your files and data when you use ADDpdf, and it is built around one core fact: we never see your files.
1. 100% Client-Side Processing — Zero Server Uploads
Every tool on ADDpdf (including Merge PDF, Rotate PDF, and Add Watermark) runs entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript. When you drag and drop or select a file, it is read directly from your device's memory and processed locally on your own computer or phone. At no point is your file transmitted, uploaded, or sent to ADDpdf's servers or to any third party. If you disconnected your device from the internet after the page loaded, our PDF tools would still work — because we are never involved in handling your file.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Because processing happens locally, ADDpdf does not collect, view, transmit, or store the contents of any file you upload, the file itself, or any data extracted from it (such as text, images, or metadata inside your PDFs). We have no database of user files, and we cannot access, recover, or share a file you have processed, because it never leaves your device.
3. Standard Web Server Logs
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information when you visit ADDpdf, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you request. This is standard infrastructure-level logging used for security, abuse prevention, and keeping the site running — it is separate from, and unrelated to, the contents of any file you process with our tools.
4. Contact Form & Abuse Prevention
When you send us a message through our contact form, we store the email address, topic, and message you submit so that we can read and reply to it. To protect the form from spam and abuse, we also limit how many messages can be sent from the same network in a short period. To do this, we convert your IP address into a one-way cryptographic hash (a scrambled code that is not your IP address itself) and store it alongside your message. This hash is used solely for rate-limiting and preventing abuse of the contact form. It is not used for tracking, analytics, advertising, or building a profile of you, and it is not shared with anyone. It is kept only temporarily: once the one-hour rate-limit window has passed, the hash is automatically cleared from our records.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
ADDpdf does not use cookies or local storage to track, profile, or identify you across visits. Your browser may temporarily hold file data in memory while a tool is running, but this is cleared when you close or refresh the page — it is never written to a remote server.
6. Third-Party Services
To build and style this site, ADDpdf loads a small number of publicly hosted, third-party code libraries (such as font, icon, and PDF-processing libraries) from their respective content delivery networks (CDNs). These providers may log basic technical request data (like your IP address) according to their own privacy policies, in the same way any website resource load does. None of these libraries transmit your file contents — all PDF processing itself still happens locally in your browser.
7. Children's Privacy
ADDpdf is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not collect file contents or personal data through our tools in the first place, this risk is inherently minimal.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to ADDpdf or for legal reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of ADDpdf after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
